Our Suspension Truth YouTube channel, where you can learn about suspension design concepts, customer experiences, watch videos for street / autocross / and track driving, and see what new innovations we’ve been cooking up.

Playlist for customer testimonials and interviews – hear what it’s like to be part of the FCM Elite in their own words!

More in the mood for some Fat Cat track action? Watch Shaikh pilot our FCM Elite development vehicle, an ’02 BMW E46 330i sedan, around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. ‘Christina’ is a solid and quick car, helping up showcase all our latest innovations with room for several passengers or race tires (an advantage over our Miata ‘Senna’!).

Playlist for ‘How Shocks Work’, a comprehensive and growing collection of videos to share our hands-on, hard won understanding of how shocks and suspensions work.

You’ll hear us talk about bump stops a lot, but what are they and why are they used? Learn more in this video series:

Another collection of driving videos, from customers using our FCM Elite suspension and a few Fat Cat vehicles as well.

Shhh! Our ‘tell-all’ videos on how the Spec Miata suspension can be optimized using creative ‘softening’ of rebound force and legal ‘addition’ of compression force (at least it’s been legal as of 2016!

The Spec Miatas using our FCM-tuned Bilstein dampers have been known to be faster (typically over 1 second per lap) and easier-to-drive. This means you don’t have to get a $5,000+ pro-built engine, but instead invest $1,200 to optimize your Spec Miata Bilsteins for the same lap-time improvement PLUS have a more track-and-tire-friendly suspension! Makes sense to us, but we don’t make the rules … we just design around them.

NOTE: our videos might be making SCCA change their rules – that I KNOW others have taken advantages of but haven’t shared the love with the Spec Miata community at large. Changing the rules now? Guess the secret’s out…!

Testing and critiquing ‘high-end’ shock products. Not everything with reservoirs or a fancy name works as well as you’d hope!

Suspension measurements, shock dyno testing and critique of the suspension design of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata

A video series showing how to open up a Bilstein inverted strut assembly in preparation for revalving or for trimming / replacing the internal bump stop. It’s not as hard as it might look.
